We are seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a 6 months contract to join our growing team.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with minimum 3 years as a Scrum Master
- Strong hands-on experience in Agile Scrum methodology (Scrum / XP / Kanban)
- Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams in large enterprise environments
- Proven experience in Agile metrics tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Experience working with ALM tools (JIRA / Azure DevOps or similar)
- Strong understanding of engineering practices such as TDD, ATDD, CI/CD
Preferred:
- Experience in scaling Agile across multiple teams or large programs.
- Exposure to internal quality forums (QBR / MBR / APR / QIC or similar governance reviews).
- Experience in Agile transformation or coaching initiatives.
- Active participation in Agile Community of Practice initiatives.
- Certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM, or equivalent Agile certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for meeting Sprint objectives along with the Scrum team and ensuring sprint commitments are delivered.
- Own and proactively resolve team impediments to ensure smooth Sprint execution.
- Ensure correct implementation and adoption of Agile/Scrum processes.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlo
- Grooming, Sprint Review/Demo, Retrospective).
- Support Product Owner in backlog management, user story definition, acceptance criteria, and prioritization (MoSCoW).
- Ensure Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD), and acceptance criteria are defined and adhered to.
- Protect the team from external disruptions and enable a self-managed environment.
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums and escalate cross-team impediments.
- Track, analyze, and report key Scrum metrics; take corrective actions for performance improvement.
- Ensure all Scrum artifacts and ALM tools are updated on a daily basis.
- Drive stable team velocity within 6–8 sprints (with minimal variation).
- Promote and enable engineering best practices such as TDD, ATDD, CI/CD, and refactoring.
- Create and track competency improvement and cross-skilling plans for team members.
- Record and own retrospective action items and ensure closure.
- Provide structured feedback on team performance to Agile Line Managers and Program Leaders.
