The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Associate Lead Quality Engineer to join our team and work with our teams across the company.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand application artifacts including, but not limited to requirements, business use cases, user stories, technical documents.
- Full-fledged web and mobile application functionality testing to confirm deliverable requirements are met.
- Testing API interfaces to confirm they match design specification requirements (Postman, SoapUI).
- Test design, test scenario/ test case preparation and maintain the traceability between requirements and test cases
- Test data identification and prepare for test execution, review test data for completeness and coverage.
- Test prioritisation, execution (functional, regression), results and status reporting during the execution cycle.
- Bugs analysis with the purpose of increasing test coverage in critical areas.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in Automation testing and Manual testing.
- Ability to write complex SQL statements and DB level verifications.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with Java as a programming language.
- Proficient in transforming manual test cases into automated tests while ensuring the automation framework remains scalable, reusable, and aligned with best practices.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, TestNG, Postman and Appium.
- Hands-on experience in using test management tools like JIRA/Xray/Test link.
- Proven track records and experience in Agile/ scrum-based testing engagements.
- Hands-on experience in API Automation will be a plus.
- Experience with Testsigma and LamdaTest would be a plus.
- A good understanding of design principles and writing clean test code.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
- Work collaboratively with our offshore clients.
- Ability to work independently & collaborate with team members.
