Azure DevOps Architect

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Azure DevOps Architect for a 12 months contract to join our growing team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in Azure cloud and DevOps architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Must Haves:

• Proven hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure (core services, networking, security, storage)
• Strong Terraform experience – mandatory
• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices
• Experience building Disaster Recovery (DR) and restore automation scripts
• Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipeline implementation and management
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in Azure environments

Preferred:

• Experience designing and implementing high availability and DR architectures in Azure
• Exposure to Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale Azure environments
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash)
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar)
• Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and IaC
• Build and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) automation scripts to ensure restore capability
• Architect resilient, scalable, and secure Azure environments
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
• Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to align infrastructure with business needs
• Ensure infrastructure deployments follow best practices, governance, and security standards
• Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure and deployment issues
• Maintain documentation for architecture, scripts, and recovery procedures
