This role goes beyond traditional repositories and pipelines — focusing on defining platform strategy, capabilities, and developer experience for modern engineering teams.

This is a highly strategic role, working closely with client IT leadership to influence platform direction, governance, and long-term engineering outcomes.ople. We are seeking a DevOps Architect with a strong product mindset to drive strategy, architecture, and next-generation platform capabilities for modern engineering teams. This role goes beyond traditional pipelines and repositories focusing on building scalable, secure, and future-ready engineering platforms. This is a highly strategic role that will closely partner with client IT leadership to shape platform vision, governance, and engineering excellence. This is a contract-based role for an initial period of 6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs and impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision for next-generation DevOps and platform capabilities
• Provide thought leadership on evolving engineering platforms beyond CI/CD and source control
• Architect and guide the development of integrated development platforms (IDP)
• Collaborate with client IT leadership to align platform strategy with enterprise goals
• Design scalable and secure GitHub-based ecosystems across engineering teams
• Establish governance and security best practices for GitHub and related services
• Enable secure and seamless integration between GitHub and cloud platforms
• Drive adoption of configuration as code for platform and toolchain management
• Identify platform gaps and recommend strategic improvements to enhance developer experience
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and architecture teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related domains
• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Architect / DevOps Lead with a strong product mindset
• Experience working within an Integrated Development Platform (IDP) paradigm
• Good knowledge of the modern GitHub platform, beyond CI/CD and source control
• Understanding of challenges in establishing GitHub services within security and governance requirements at scale
• Experience securing interactions between GitHub and cloud platforms
• Experience maintaining configuration as code for administration of GitHub and third-party services
• Exposure to platform engineering practices
