We are seeking an experienced Functional / API Test Lead to support a Federal client project in Sydney. The role requires strong expertise in application testing, API testing, and database validation along with the ability to lead testing efforts and ensure successful project delivery. The candidate will collaborate with development teams, manage testing activities, and ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage functional and API testing activities across the project.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for applications and APIs.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate integrations.
• Conduct database validation and data verification using Oracle SQL.
• Ensure quality standards and timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Prepare test reports, defect logs, and quality metrics for project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience in functional and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
• Good knowledge of Oracle SQL for database validation.
• Experience in test planning, execution, and delivery management.
• Ability to lead testing efforts in complex project environments.
