Insighture — build the quality standard for complex enterprise systems
The role
We're looking for a Head of QA who operates at a senior level and genuinely enjoys hard problems. You bring breadth, functional, performance, API and security, and the judgment to see around corners before issues surface. You set strategy and you stay hands-on. You communicate clearly, think in systems, and you own the problem, not just the test plan.
Most importantly: you can walk into a messy, complex enterprise, legacy systems, tangled dependencies, quality treated as an afterthought, and define a QA strategy that brings order to the chaos. That's the work here, and it's what makes it worth doing.
What you'll do
- Define and own the QA strategy across our engagements, shaping coherent testing approaches for complex, often messy enterprise environments
- Lead on test automation as a first-class discipline, designing modern, AI-assisted automation frameworks that scale, not brittle scripts that rot
- Set the standard across functional, performance, API and security testing
- Stay hands-on where it counts, you lead from the front, not from behind a process document
- Lift the whole engineering organisation's quality bar and coach teams to own quality themselves
- Work directly with senior client and delivery stakeholders, translating complexity into a clear, pragmatic plan
What we're looking for
- Senior QA leadership with real breadth, performance, API and security, not just functional
- Deep strength in test automation, including modern and AI-native approaches to generating and maintaining test coverage
- The strategic instinct to design a testing approach for a chaotic enterprise from first principles, paired with the pragmatism to actually ship it
- Excellent communication, you can carry a room, align stakeholders, and say no when it's the right call
- Strategic but grounded, hands-on but able to see the whole board
Why Insighture
We're an engineering-led consultancy that goes deep on real enterprise transformation. Quality here isn't a gate at the end; it's how we build. You'll own a genuinely important problem, work with senior people who care about craft, and help set a standard that shows up across everything we deliver.
Own the problem, not just the solution.
