We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IFS Cloud - Field Service Solution Architect for a 12 months contract to join our growing team.
As an IFS Cloud Field Service Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, governing, and delivering scalable and robust IFS cloud Field Service Management (FSM) solutions. This role is delivery-centric, focusing on implementation, architecture design, configuration governance, and post-go-live optimization for enterprise customers .
Key Responsibilities
Field Service Solution Design & Delivery:
- Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for IFS Cloud Field Service implementations (FSM / Maintenance / Service Management).
- Translate business and operational field service requirements into scalable IFS Cloud solution designs.
- Drive configuration and customization strategy aligned with IFS best practices and SaaS constraints.
- Define TO-BE business processes for field service operations including work orders, scheduling, mobility, service contracts, warranties, and SLAs.
- At least should have hands on with one end to end IFS Cloud implementation experience for IFS SaaS product.
- Should have hand-on experience in Service management implementation.
- PSO implementation experience will be added advantage.
- Good to have knowledge about Supply Chain Management.
- Should be well versed in accessing all supportive tools like costing and pre-burner tool.
- At least one end to end IFS Cloud implementation experience for IFS On-premise application.
- Deep experience of solution development, presenting software applications and business process mapping at a senior level
- A comprehensive understanding of business practices within relevant industries
Implementation Leadership:
- Own solution governance across implementation phases – design, build, test, deployment, and hypercare.
- Review and validate functional and technical designs produced by project teams.
- Ensure consistency across modules such as:
o Field Service & Maintenance
o Mobile Workforce
o Asset Management
o Service Contracts
o Scheduling & Dispatch
- Lead design workshops and functional deep-dives with customer stakeholders.
Integration & Technical Architecture:
- Design and oversee enterprise integrations involving IFS Cloud FSM using:
o IFS Integration Framework
o APIs, events, middleware platforms
- Ensure secure and performant integration with ERP, EAM, HR, Finance, and external systems.
- Guide teams on data migration, master data strategy, and reporting implications for field service.
Quality, Governance & Best Practices:
- Enforce IFS Cloud delivery standards, solution guardrails, and SaaS compliance.
- Perform solution reviews to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Ensure the solution meets performance, scalability, and operational readiness expectations.
Post Go-Live Optimization:
- Support stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives post go-live.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements in field service processes.
- Provide architectural guidance for phased rollouts and feature adoption.
Required Qualifications
Essential:
- Strong experience working on IFS Cloud implementations, with a primary focus on Field Service / Maintenance.
- At least one end-to-end IFS Cloud SaaS implementation experience in a solution architecture or senior functional role.
- Hands-on experience with IFS FSM business processes and configurations.
- Solid understanding of IFS Cloud deployment model, extensions, and SaaS constraints.
- Experience designing integration architecture in IFS Cloud.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in asset-intensive industries such as Utilities, Manufacturing, Energy, Engineering, or Service Providers.
- Exposure to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) in conjunction with Field Service.
- Experience supporting IFS Cloud upgrades or on-premise to Cloud migrations.
- Understanding of field service KPIs, operational metrics, and optimization levers.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with IFS Cloud releases.
