Lead Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Lead Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our business objectives and technical execution. The ideal candidate will analyse complex business requirements, map them to technical capabilities, and ensure smooth project allocation and resource utilisation within our agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications, user stories, and documentation for development teams.
• Maintain and optimise our internal repository of technical skill sets and project potential to ensure optimal team utilisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage project allocations, track bench resources, and assist in balancing team workloads based on upcoming requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks in project delivery and implement streamlined workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams (engineering/AI/data) and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Maintain and analyse project scorecards and resource availability reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical or software development environment.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum), and familiarity with data-driven decision tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, excel etc).
• Proven ability to break down complex problems into structured, manageable technical tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Experience in AI/ML project environments or resource management software is highly desirable.
