We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MS Dynamics AX 2009 – Techno Functional Consultant for 6 months contract to join our growing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX environments.
- Strong techno-functional experience in MS Dynamics AX 2009.
- Proven experience supporting legacy, business-critical applications.
Must Haves:
- Strong hands-on experience in MS Dynamics AX 2009 (Technical & Functional).
- Experience in Microsoft CRM solution design.
- Expertise in X++ coding and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AX Debugging tools.
- Knowledge of AIF configuration, Batch Job creation, and Business Connector configuration.
- Experience with Morphex Reporting.
- Strong production support experience for highly used legacy applications.
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting PeoplePoint ISV / Vertical layer integrated with AX 2009.
- Exposure to ServiceNow for ITSM operations.
- Strong documentation and service management experience.
- Prior experience in environments where business continuity is critical.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end techno-functional support for MS Dynamics AX 2009 and integrated ISV solutions (PeoplePoint).
- Actively support and resolve user-reported issues in a heavily used legacy application.
- Ensure business continuity and system stability for AX 2009.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and changes via ServiceNow.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and timely resolution of production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Support AX technical components including: Morphex Reporting, AIF Configuration, Batch Job Management, X++ Development & Debugging, Data Refresh Activities, Business Connector Setup
- Create and maintain operational documentation, including: SMTDs, Knowledge Base Articles, Run Books, Technical Reference Documents
- Periodically review and optimize system performance and operational processes.
