We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Consultant – MS Dynamics 365 CRM to drive requirements, solution design, and implementation of enterprise CRM solutions across complex environments. This is a full-time contract role based in Sydney.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and discussions to capture detailed requirements and align with business objectives
- Document business processes, workflows, and identify gaps to recommend effective solutions
- Work closely with technical teams to design functional CRM solutions aligned to business needs
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 CRM (entities, forms, views, workflows, business rules)
- Participate in testing cycles to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Support end-to-end CRM implementation ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
- Review test cases, clarify requirements, and support technical teams through Q&A sessions
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure clear, consistent communication
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and drive user adoption
- Recommend enhancements and improvements based on evolving business needs
- Guide stakeholders on CRM best practices and optimal system usage
- Support creation of reports, dashboards, and analytics within Dynamics 365 CRM
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and effective reporting capabilities
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant with focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.)
- Experience in configuring and customising Dynamics 365 CRM (entities, workflows, forms, security roles)
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and tools like JIRA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business needs into solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred
- Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-200, MB-220)
- Experience working in enterprise-scale or complex environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
