The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineering Lead to work with our teams across the company.

The Role Will Include

• Leading a team of testers and taking responsibility for the quality of their work.
• Mentor team members in the use of automation tools and frameworks.
• Writing Automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, or Selenium & Rest Assured, Postman.
• Maintain the existing Automation framework and improve the test coverage and reliability.
• Version controlling with Git / GitHub /Azure DO repository.
• Integrate automated test scripts on GitHub/Azure DO with a CI/CD pipeline.
• Involved in compatibility testing to evaluate system performance under varying conditions using different devices and browsers.
• Test Management and Defect Management.
• Create comprehensive test documentation/artefacts like Test Strategy & test plans.
• Come up with estimates, prioritise, plan, and coordinate QA activities.
• Setting up goals and objectives for QA Engineers and guiding junior QA members.
• Work closely on the project deadlines to ensure test automation scripting is delivered on time.
• Set Quality standards for the teams in various new testing technologies in the industry.
• Conduct code (lead) reviews on test scripts and provide code review comments to the peers, and verify review comments incorporation.
• Participate in the Agile development process, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements for the Role

• 7+ years of experience in Test Automation.
• Experience in Leading Automation QE team and ability to guide and mentor team members.
• Experience in Reviewing Automation test scripts & Test Automation practices to ensure the standards.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
• Hands-on experience with Automation testing tools and developing frameworks such as Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, and Selenium with Python.
• Experience in integrating automated testing tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions)
• Excellent understanding of HTML,CSS and Xpath locators.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GIT, GitHub Actions, Azure) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail,TestLink).
• A good understanding of design principles and writing clean test code.
• Experience in version control systems like GitHub/Azure DO.
• Experience in Mobile testing using Appium and SauceLabs will be an advantage.
• Bug analysis is used to increase test coverage in critical areas.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of Cloud applications(AWS/Salesforce) is a plus.
• Knowledge of application testing/security testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Mobile testing is a plus.
• Previous working experience with offshore clients
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
