We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP Operations Manager for a 1 year contract (Extendable) to join our growing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP operations and application support.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within SAP environments.
- Strong experience across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Fiori landscapes.
- ITIL Foundation or ITIL Practitioner certification (preferred).
Must Haves:
- Deep expertise in SAP modules including FI/CO, Reinsurance, and FSCD.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Basis operations, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager, IDocs, RFCs, APIs, and middleware integrations.
- Experience managing hybrid support models (onshore/offshore).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT compliance, audit, and governance.
Preferred:
- ITIL certification (Foundation or higher).
- Experience with integrated systems such as CATS and other SAP-connected platforms.
- Exposure to automation and proactive monitoring tools within SAP landscapes.
- Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily SAP operations across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, and integrated systems.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and SLA compliance.
- Drive automation and proactive monitoring to reduce incidents and improve operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain SAP governance frameworks aligned with ITIL standards.
- Define, track, and report KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data security policies.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional SAP support team.
- Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and external vendors for seamless delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for SAP operational issues and escalations.
- Engage with business stakeholders to align SAP support with strategic objectives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Stay current with SAP innovations and recommend adoption strategies.
