Responsibilities
- Defining quality standards and metrics.
- Working with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed and agreed upon.
- Make the team aware of the Quality metrics and resolve all the queries.
- Create comprehensive test documentation.
- Come up with Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate QA activities.
- Defining processes for test plan and several phases of testing cycle.
- Work closely on the deadlines of the project Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with Manual Testing.
- Set processes for test plan reviews and ensure that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.
- Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, security are getting covered.
- Set Quality standards for the teams in various new testing technologies in the industry.
- Setting up goals and objectives for QA Engineers and guiding junior QA members.
- Leading a team of testers and taking the responsibility for the quality of their work.
- Developing an end to end automation strategy in line with the strategic vision and product roadmap.
Requirements
- Profound proficiency and experience in Automation and Manual Testing processes.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium/Cypress.
- Hands-on experience in Performance Testing with JMeter or K6.
- Hands-on experience in API Automation.
- Experience in Mobile Test Automation using Appium.
- A good understanding of design principles and writing clean test code.
- Experience in version control systems like Bitbucket.
- Bugs analysis with the purpose of increasing test coverage in critical areas.
- Hands-on experience in using test management tools like JIRA/TestRail/Test link.
- Work collaboratively with our offshore clients.
- Ability to work independently & collaborate with team members.
- Continuous learner and team player with a good attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in CI/CD.
