We are seeking an experienced Senior IFS Cloud Developer with strong expertise
in Service Management.
This role focuses on delivering IFS Cloud solutions through configuration first design, supported by controlled customizations where required, while working in a collaborative, multiorganization delivery environment.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of IFS Cloud product capabilities and applies best practices to ensure scalability, upgradeability, and long-term
maintainability of Service Management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and determine the best-fit solution using a configuration-first approach (out-of-box, configuration, or customization) within IFS Cloud.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions within IFS Cloud Service Management modules including Work Order Management, Planning & Dispatch, PSO, and Mobile Workforce Management.
- Implement and support integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, while assisting with data migration, validation, and reconciliation using SQL/PLSQL.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in multi-company or distributed delivery environments.
- Provide L3 support for incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement enhancements or change requests to improve system stability and performance.
- Maintain technical documentation (HLD, LLD, specifications), ensure solutions meet security and performance standards, and provide knowledge transfer to internal and partner teams.
Requirements
- 6–12 years of experience with IFS Applications / IFS Cloud
- 4+ years hands-on experience in IFS Cloud Service Management Strong PL/SQL experience – must have, including development, analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience working with IFS Cloud 24 R1 and above is good to have
Proven experience in designing and supporting IFS Cloud Lobbies, configuring Workflows, implementing Integrations, developing customizations, and handling application Events. - Clear understanding of when to use configuration vs customization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication skills with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
- Comfortable working in collaborative, cross organization environments.
