Senior Quality Engineer (Automation)

We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with a wealth of experience in Automation Testing to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Defining quality standards and metrics.
• Working with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed and agreed upon.
• Make the team aware of the Quality metrics and resolve all the queries.
• Create comprehensive test documentation.
• Come up with Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate QA activities.
• Defining processes for test plan and several phases of testing cycle.
• Work closely on the deadlines of the project Ensure the team is focusing on automation along with Manual Testing.
• Set processes for test plan reviews and ensure that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.
• Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, security are getting covered.
• Set Quality standards for the teams in various new testing technologies in the industry.
• Setting up goals and objectives for QA Engineers and guiding junior QA members.
• Leading a team of testers and taking the responsibility for the quality of their work.
• Developing an end to end automation strategy in line with the strategic vision and product roadmap.

Qualification & Experience

• Profound proficiency and experience in Automation and Manual Testing processes.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Test Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress.
• Hands-on experience in Performance Testing with JMeter or K6.
• Hands-on experience in API Automation.
• Experience in Mobile Test Automation.
• A good understanding of design principles and writing clean test code.
• Experience in version control systems.
• Bugs analysis with the purpose of increasing test coverage in critical areas.
• Hands-on experience in using test management tools like JIRA/TestRail/Test link.
• Work collaboratively with our offshore clients.
• Ability to work independently & collaborate with team members.
• Continuous learner and team player with a good attitude.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience in CI/CD.
