Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

We're looking for versatile Full Stack Senior Engineers strong in React.js, Node.js and AWS. Especially those who use AI tools to accelerate delivery, adapt quickly across the stack and lead by example.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable microservices, owning critical components and architecture.
• Build and maintain high-quality Node.js/TypeScript API services for users and integrations.
• Drive a test-first culture with comprehensive Jest unit testing.
• Design and manage data across PostgreSQL and NoSQL systems for integrity and performance.
• Containerise and deploy with Docker, optimise scalability on AWS.
• Collaborate with front-end, product and cross-functional teams to ship end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to GitLab CI/CD automation (a plus).

What you'll bring

• 4+ years building production React (React.js, Next.js, Hooks) & 1+ years Node.js and AWS.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and async, event-driven programming.
• State management with Redux Toolkit (RTK Query / TanStack Query a plus).
• Solid HTML/CSS/Flexbox and responsive UI (styled-components / Tailwind a plus).
• RESTful API design, relational + NoSQL schema design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Testing with Jest, Docker containerisation (Kubernetes / Kafka a plus).
• Serverless architecture with AWS Lambda.
• Versatility across front-end, back-end and infrastructure, picking up new tech fast.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

AI acceleration (strong advantage)

• Hands-on with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor).
• Effective prompting and AI-assisted workflows without compromising quality or judgement.
• Exposure to AI/ML or AI-powered features (LLM APIs, RAG, agentic workflows).
