Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead - Full Stack

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead - Full Stack with a wealth of experience in React.Js, Node.Js and AWS to join our growing team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in ReactJs, NextJs along with extensive knowledge in React Hooks with 1+ years of experience in NodeJs development and AWS.
• Good understanding about the Flux pattern and state management technologies like Redux
• Experience in styled-components, reactstrap or any other UI library will be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge on HTML, CSS, Flex and Responsive UI development
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript) and asynchronous programming, leveraging event-driven architecture.
• Experience in designing and working with RESTful APIs, ensuring effective communication between microservices.
• Strong database skills, including schema design and querying using technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Proficiency in using testing frameworks like Jest to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). Knowledge in Kafka will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of serverless architecture and its implementation using AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or similar.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, contributing effectively to a collaborative environment.
• Experience or knowledge of AI/ML technologies would be an added advantage.

Roles and responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with the development team to design and implement scalable microservices-based solutions, taking ownership of critical components and architecture.
• Building, documenting, and maintaining high-quality API services using NodeJS and Typescript, ensuring smooth and reliable functionality for our users and external integrations.
• Writing comprehensive unit tests, particularly with Jest, to uphold code integrity, reliability, and maintainability, fostering a test-driven development culture.
• Demonstrating a strong command of relational databases, with a focus on PostgreSQL or similar database systems, to efficiently manage data integration and storage, ensuring data integrity and high performance.
• Leveraging your expertise in Docker for efficient containerization and management of applications, enabling seamless deployment and scalability while adhering to containerization best practices.
• Utilizing your knowledge and experience in AWS cloud development to optimize the performance and scalability of our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring a robust and resilient platform.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers, to deliver end-to-end solutions, driving innovation and excellence in software development.
• Contributing to the implementation of Gitlab CI/CD for efficient continuous integration and continuous deployment processes, streamlining development workflows and automating deployments (a plus).
