Test Lead – ASRS Project (Proforma Report Testing)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in test leadership roles within data-centric or reporting-focused projects.
• Strong background in test planning, test data management, and end-to-end validation.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of experience in test planning, execution, and reporting.
• ETL testing experience in the project backgrounds is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Test Lead on complex data or reporting initiatives.
• Strong expertise in test data management and environment coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and transformation logic testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in investment management or financial services domain.
• Exposure to ASRS, Proforma reporting, ESG, or investment data validation.
• Experience working with multiple vendors and offshore/onshore teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the end-to-end test strategy and test plan for the ASRS Proforma Report initiative.
• Define testing approaches covering data sourcing, transformation logic, and end-to-end validation.
• Lead test data planning, setup, and validation across environments.
• Collaborate with business, data engineering, and vendor teams to clarify requirements.
• Develop and maintain test cases, traceability matrices, and coverage reports.
• Log, track, and manage defects in Jira, ensuring timely triage and resolution.
• Prepare and maintain dashboards, test status reports, and defect metrics.
• Validate non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, and data quality.
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and compliance standards for sensitive financial data.
• Provide regular test progress updates and proactively highlight risks and dependencies.
