We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented VMware Transformation Architect/ Consultant for a 12 months contract to join our growing team.
Experience:
- VMware Consultant (7-10 years of experience)
- VMware Architect (18-25 Years of experience)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in network technology security with strong hands-on expertise in VMware NSX and hybrid cloud environments.
- VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP (VN) preferred.
- Cisco CCIE certification is desirable.
Must Haves:
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX / NSX-T architecture, design, and implementation.
- Proven expertise in hybrid cloud infrastructure and multi–data center network designs.
- Experience in designing and implementing NSX stretched networks across multiple data centers.
- Strong knowledge of VXLAN, virtual networking, and network hypervisors.
- Expertise in configuring network security layers, firewall rules, and security groups targeting multiple VMs.
- Experience supporting VMware virtual infrastructure operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, consulting, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Hands-on experience with VMware vROps, vRA, and vRO.
- Familiarity with automation tools and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of other software-defined networking (SDN) technologies.
- Experience with capacity planning, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to architect, design, and implement VMware NSX / NSX-T solutions.
- Deliver secure, scalable, and highly available network and security infrastructures.
- Provide network and security support for physical and virtual networking and firewall services.
- Implement and manage VXLAN and software-defined networking technologies.
- Monitor and automate network deployment and configuration.
- Integrate networking with compute and storage automation frameworks.
- Configure and monitor network security layers and compliance standards.
- Improve network manageability, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain VMware vROps reporting for monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
- Automate and simplify operational tasks using NSX, vRA, and vRO.
- Support ongoing operations and maintenance of VMware virtual infrastructure.
